At this point..

I've recently come to the point where I can tell I'm genuinely happy. I'm happy with where I am in life. I'm happy with where I can see my life heading. I'm blessed beyond measure with the BEST friends a girl could ask for. I have a loving, giving church family. I have a family that would give me the world and not ask for anything in return. I have a job with wonderful co-workers. I serve a God that is full of love, grace, and new beginnings.

I want to learn to be content in any situation and always thank the Lord for what He has given me. I'm blessed beyond measure and today I realize that.

Most definitely.

Tis the Season

To be jolly. fa la la la la la la la laaaa. You're welcome.

Life has been about the same the past few weeks. Work. School. Sleep. Sounds a lot like it did when I was in Nursing School a few months back. I honestly can't believe that its already been 7 months & 1 day to be exact since I graduated nursing school.  That sounds like a long time but it has honestly FLEW by!

Any who, Its almost Christmas. My tree is up, apple cinnamon cider candles are burning, and hot chocolate has been made. Lets not forget that Elf has been playing non-stop on my TV. So on to pictures to recap...

Chrysalis 50

So, it has came and passed...Chrysalis 50 folks. Chrysalis is one of those things that I look forward to and then when its finally here it FLYS! I got to spend the weekend with some of the most amazing people on this planet. Seriously, I love them. My table was absolutely fantastic and I know the Lord hand picked my table (& every other table.) Since I had never been a table leader before, I was terrified at the thought of not knowing what girls would be at my table and not knowing their personalities, interest, etc. Well, I don't know why I worried. God had it planned way before last weekend.

This folks, is the table of Glen Coco. We obviously all have a crazy obsession with Mean Girls. Like honestly, hoop earrings were her thing.  {{Picture overload}}

My pretty babies with their pageant faces on. Seriously, how cute are they?

Gangasta's. We were all over the place.

Spidey came to visit.

Ashley and I smoked ciggs...or candy sticks. Same thing.

Couldn't be a complete weekend without my twin, Amanda Panda!!

Before my talk. My sweet Sue! She even gave me the socks right off her feet :] True love.

Last day :( Still attached at the hip.

It can't be Chrysalis unless TSwift is involved. Basically, I need this cutout for my spare bedroom. Roomies!

Someone, buy me this. And TSwift concert tickets :]

That is all. Have a great week!

My boyfriend is on tv.

I felt like this deserved its own post. judge me if necessary.

Its true. My boyfriend,Wade, is on TV. He stars in the show Hart of Dixie that I might or might not be obsessed with!

Whether its McSteamy or McDreamy, everyone has a TV boyfriend.

This show first aired last year and I LOVED it. Its based around a city girl (Rachel Bilson, known as Zoe) who moves to the backwoods of Alabama to pursue her career as a doctor. She is completely out of her element and seems to be the laugh of the town. Of course, like any show now days, its a big love triangle...and that's where Wade comes in  :]

But now he's captured my heart and he's formally known as My man, Wade.

CAN NOT wait for the new season to start tonight at 8pm on CW.

This one time he posed with his shirt off.  I have got to get that boy under control.

Then, he posed with a flannel shirt.

TONIGHT AT 8!
Do you watch HOD? Who's your favorite?

Bathroom redo and Honey Boo Boo!

More apartment photos...I know, I know. I recently re-did my 1/2 bath. It was sad before hand. I'm talking a blue rug and two hand towels. sad.

So with the help of my sweet friend Sue and TJ Maxx, the bathroom was redone.

The small frame says, "Live, travel, adventure, bless, and don't be sorry." -jack kerouac.

I LOVE my grey owl. The bottom towel is a deep purple and top one is grey.
* the small black box says, "Be a go-giver as well as a go-getter."
AND- Those glorious shelves were hung by the greatest neighbor ever...Derek Allen Hensley. (Enough recognition?)

This cute box was $10 at TJ Maxx. I love that it has chalkboard paint on the side.

The bathroom redo was all done for about $40 or less. Bargain shopper!

Short, sweet, and to the point.

PS. Is anyone else addicted to Honey Boo Boo? Sue and I might be...While shopping, we found some Deer just like Momma June got from Sugar bear for their anniversary. Sue really wanted these. Don't worry, Christmas is coming soon! ;)

Enjoy!

(Fall decor to come later on in the week!)

September = Fall

Ive never really been much of a "Fall" type of gal. Summer is my season of choice. I love the hot weather, shorts, swimming, and the joy of strictly knowing that its Summer.

But, Ive recently had a realization...I think I might like Fall. In fact, I might actually be looking forward to it. Or maybe, I just like that now that I have my own place, I can decorate for all seasons. Yep, Im pretty sure thats it. It doesn't help that Pinterest is brain washing my poor soul either. Brain washing!

Ive recently taken upon myself some crafts/Pinterest brain washed projects. I have SO many ways that I want to decorate my place that by October, it might just looked like Halloween/Fall threw up in my apartment. I would be okay with that..

Any who, on to the projects.

  •    You all know how excited I was about a wreath that I could decorate for every Holiday so it was only fitting to make a fall one. I know its still 90 degrees outside but I had a free day last week and couldn't resist.  A few people had asked how I made this so the instructions are listed below.

Supplies:
Hot glue/glue gun
Felt- Brown & Orange
Leaves- from Dollar Tree
Letters- I printed them from my computer
Ribbon- The ribbon is from Dollar Tree as well

1) I cut out triangles from the felt.
2) I printed the letters on computer paper and cut them out. I then hot glued them onto the felt. Simple!
3) The Leaves were all on a strand so I cut them off and hot glued them on to pieces of velcro that were already on the wreath. That way, I can just pull off the velcro and reuse the wreath!
4) I had fishing wire from a precious project so I actually taped the velcro triangles onto the fishing wire. Ghetto.. but it works.
5) I took the rest of the fishing wire from the banners and wrapped it around the wreath a few times so it would stay.

I hope that makes sense! It was a little time consuming but Im happy with the end result. If I would have had sticker letters, my time on this would have been cut in half!

  •   After a long hunt for these jars and almost attempting to make these myself, I found these at Kirkland's for 15 bucks! Score. As I mentioned earlier, not only am I Pinterest brain washed but so is my friend Sue. We both got these jars, the same candy, and the same ribbon. Our apartments have twin jars :] How cute! Im eating this candy at a rapid rate...it won't last long.

Im pretty sure at the rate that Sue and I are "pinning", it won't be long before more crafts/holiday decor takes place!

Have a good day and Happy almost Fall ya'll!

Top 5.

I almost forgot it was Friday and that I needed to do a High Five for Friday post...whoops.

Im a "bad blogger." I forget to blog 95% of the time...except for Fridays.

Top 5 from the week:

1)On Saturday my sweet, beautiful, amazing, awesome, friend Keely got MARRIED! Ah! She was gorgeous and it was a beautiful ceremony. Annnnd, the reception food was great. Win in my book.

Kayla and Joni
My Ki Ki. Gorgeous bride!

She's the greatest.

 2) After the wedding, I decided to go "home" instead of coming home. Basically, I went to my parents house. I got to see my doggy, Ben. (AKA fatty.) I made him get into the bed with me where he laid for 0.5 seconds. My mom snapped this picture.

3) I might be addicted to Baby Lips lip balm. The purple one was on sell at Target yesterday so I had to get it.

4) I went to hang out with my mom today so I was bummin' it. We were going to get flowers to put in my cute flower pots but everything at this time of the year is dead! Dead and brown. So, forget that.

My new favorite shoes from target and my mom's old sweatshirt.

5) I was craving some fudge today so my sweet mother bought me some. I've almost ate it all. [[Stop Hannah. Stop.]]

I had already ate almost all of one piece before we even got out of the parking lot. bad.

There ya have it. The adult "grown up" life. Where getting lip balm on sell is a big deal and all your friends are getting married. (Ha!)

 Have a great weekend!
